The impact of Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine has been devastating. And while the situation continues to escalate, so does the need for help—from emergency relief on the ground, to support for those fleeing to neighboring countries.
How Can I Help?More than 10 million people have left their homes in Ukraine. Over 4.1 million Ukrainians have fled the country for neighboring Poland, Hungary, Moldova, Slovakia and other European countries, while an estimated 6.5 million people have been displaced within the country. There are many wonderful organizations doing charitable work on the ground in Ukraine, as well as the neighboring countries and they all report that at this time, monetary donations are the best way to support Ukrainians.

UNICEF is working across eastern Ukraine to scale up life-saving programs for children.
This organization will help provide food, medical care, and emergency supplies to refugee families fleeing to Poland.
This Ukrainian non-profit, in Fairfax, VA receives and distributes donations, food, and medical supplies to internally displaced Ukrainians and anyone affected by the invasion, and the families of wounded or killed soldiers.
This Ukrainian non-profit, headquartered in Palo Alto, CA relies on volunteers in the U.S. and Ukraine to provide Ukrainian citizens with everything from baby food and hygiene products to clothes and household supplies.
This US-based organization is the ground in Ukraine. International Medical Corps works both directly and in partnership with local organizations to increase access to medical services, mental health and psychosocial support, and protection services.
Sunflower of Peace Foundation is a Boston, USA-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to helping Ukrainians affected by the Russian military invasion. They help provide medical and humanitarian aid in the areas that are affected by the violence in Ukraine.
Razom, which means “together” in Ukrainian, is a New York based Ukrainian non-profit. They believe that one of the most effective ways to support the heroic efforts of Ukrainian defenders on the ground in Ukraine is by equipping them with tactical medical supplies, hospital supplies, and tech enabled emergency response supplies that facilitate the delivery of this aid.
World Central Kitchen is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises while working to build resilient food systems with locally led solutions. Since the invasion of Ukraine, they has been on the ground supporting families sheltering in the country as well as refugees arriving in Poland, Romania, Moldova, Hungary, and Spain.
